About Kilimo Afya

Technology built around the realities of farming.Tested with real farmers in the field.

Kilimo Afya is building a practical digital agriculture platform that connects farmers to agricultural intelligence, advisory, technology and services from soil to market.

Our approach combines technology with local delivery. Farmers use the platform directly, while agripreneurs, extension networks, institutions and commercial partners can help bring digital agricultural services closer to farming communities.

Growing through deployment

Built in the field, not only behind a screen.

Kilimo Afya has grown through direct interaction with farmers, agricultural officers, agripreneurs, farmer groups and local institutions. That field experience continues to shape the technology and how it is deployed.

Why we exist

Farmers need connected services, not fragmented tools.

Agriculture involves many interconnected decisions: crop and livestock health, weather, soil, inputs, extension, learning, finance, markets and farm management. Kilimo Afya is being built to bring those decisions and services together in one practical ecosystem.

How we grow

Technology + local networks + institutional partnerships.

Our farmer-facing technology is supported by field deployment, youth agripreneurs, extension relationships and partnerships with organizations that already work with farming communities.

This gives Kilimo Afya a pathway to grow both directly with farmers and through development programmes, agribusinesses, cooperatives and other institutional networks.

Youth-powered last-mile delivery

Local youth helping take digital agriculture to the last mile.
